| N115 | It is a pelleted furnace carbon black which imparts a very high degree of reinforcement to natural and synthetic rubbers. It has a high surface area per unit mass and relatively low structure. Vulcanizates containing N115 have very high tensile strength, tear and wear resistance coupled with relatively low modulus and low resilience (high hysteresis). High quality N115 grade carbon black is used in applications calling for outstandingly high wear resistance and tensile strength: aero-tires, off-the-road tires, retreads, premium truck tire treads and retreads.
